Just to remind you, the campaign launched on January 14th and was funded in less than two minutes! Today, we are proud to have over 7,800 backers, and we are grateful to every single one of you for making this journey possible. Because of your support, the board game is on track to deliver an immersive, strategic, and thematic experience worthy of the Master of Orion name.

Final Call: The Pledge Manager Closes on November 30th

This is an important reminder that the Master of Orion: Ad Astra pledge manager closes on November 30th. After this date, several important limitations will take effect:
 

- You will no longer be able to upgrade your pledge.

Any changes such as moving to a higher tier, choosing a different pledge level, or adding premium options will no longer be possible.
 

- You will no longer be able to purchase additional expansions or add-ons.

All optional content—gameplay modules, miniatures, accessories, and other extras—will close permanently with the pledge manager.
 

- Late pledging will be disabled.

New backers will not be able to join the campaign once the pledge manager closes.

If you want to secure exclusive campaign content, stretch goals, or ensure you receive your chosen items, now is the time to act.

If you backed the campaign during the Gamefound launch but haven’t completed your shipping survey yet, don’t worry—you will still be able to provide your shipping details after the pledge manager closes. However, please be aware that completing your survey late may cause your order to be processed later than other backers, which can result in delayed shipping. For the smoothest fulfillment experience and to ensure you receive all the content you want, we strongly recommend finalizing everything before November 30th.

If you’re still deciding whether to join the campaign before the pledge manager closes, here’s a clear, thematic overview of what awaits you in Master of Orion: Ad Astra:

MoO: Ad Astra is a big 4X (eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, eXterminate) board game about intergalactic exploration, development, and conquest. Players choose from a diverse selection of iconic races and take command of a rising spacefaring civilization. You can manage resources, advance your technological development, build vital infrastructure, and expand your influence across the galaxy. Employ espionage to sabotage your rivals' progress, and if diplomacy fails, prepare your forces for conflict! In the end… the galaxy will yield to your indomitable will, one way or another.

A full game spans 6–8 rounds, with the setup and session length scalable based on how long you want your experience to be. Once players are familiar with the rules, you can expect each round to take around 10 minutes, creating a dynamic, fast-flowing strategic experience.

Each round begins with a crucial technology draft, which helps define your strategy for the game. At this stage, you have to ask yourself some questions: Will you focus on rapid exploration, claiming as many new systems as possible? Will you fortify a compact but powerful empire built around key planets? Or will you pursue specialized objectives through diplomacy, espionage, or technological superiority? Whatever direction you take, adapting to shifting objectives and galactic conditions is the key to victory.
