A Geography full of conflict

Dungeon and Lasers V will give you more than 400 models of different creatures, allies, enemies, NPCs, and even new playable races. Along with it, we are creating a supplement for Game Masters exploring the world of Deuslair in addition to a Bestiary which will include information on the various races that inhabit this world. We want to give you a world that is truly alive, with all the necessary tools for creating your own stories and epic battles for you and your party. It will also include a complex, robust dark fantasy story set in the world of Deuslair, where there are no clear right or wrong sides. To finish it your party will need to face a multitude of moral dilemmas, decide the fate of more than just their own skin, and face enemies beyond their wildest imaginations.

A Geography full of conflict

The world in the campaign consists of three continents, which are not fully shown: 
- Kallonia
- Redoe
- Herja

Kallonia

A continent in the north-west. Its biggest cities are Aeheron, Woodhaven and the Fortress of Dragsa. This is the home of the Fortress of Dragsa faction as well as most beastkin. To the west, is the partially submerged country of merfolk–Encura. Between them is the thick forest of Banewood, where liberated centaurs roam free and fight against their oppressors. To the north, you can find large swamps filled with deadly creatures and Aeheron city, where magical progress thrives. They are currently the leading force in research about the Roots of Life.

Redoe

A fragment of the continent populated mostly by elves and dwarves. The human records barely say anything about it. At best you’ll find information about the biggest city, “Hyaste Talma”, located on the side of a mountain, from which it was chiseled. Apart from that, everyone knows about the impossible task of climbing the mountains and maneuvering through the expansive woods, which are older than most things known to mankind. What is unknown to most humans, is the fact that the city leads to a whole nation, buried underground in the mountains. Traveling through this country is also the only way to get to the kingdom of Vindu, land of the snow Elves. They live on the icy plain in between the peaks and are isolationists by nature.

The Scareguards

To the west, between Kallonia and Herja, there is an archipelago of flying islands, which is jointly called the Scareguard. The sea around them is covered in mist, which makes it a perfect place for piracy to bloom. After the arrival of the Disciples of Chaos, these pirates joined forces with the Fortress of Dragsa. “The enemy of my enemy, ” as the saying goes…

Herja

A continent located to the south. To the west, there’s the huge desert of Kartagis, along with its various unfriendly nations inhabiting these parts. While being in direct contact with both Fortress of Dragsa and Chaos Disciples, they are neutral to both sides, which is only possible due to their geographical advantage–conquering these dunes would be close to impossible. On the other hand, they are in constant war with the pirates of the Scareguard Archipelago and claim they took their lands. 

To the east, there’s the first point of contact for the forces of Chaos. The charred remains of the destroyed countries that used to inhabit these lands tell more than enough of a story. During the great invasion done by the forces of Chaos, people from the Fortress of Dragsa started calling this area the “Godless Lands”.
