Great Experiences in Athens

The beginning of this month was an incredible experience as we gathered at the vibrant heart of Greece - the city of Athens, for the third training session (LTTA) of our program. The energy and enthusiasm were palpable as we delved into four days filled with creativity and innovative ideas focused on fostering inclusion.

During our LTTA, we were granted a unique opportunity to learn about the remarkable work of the Challedu organization. This inspiring group specializes in creating games designed for excluded individuals, and we had the chance to test their innovative games firsthand. These interactive approaches to learning sign language and other skills left a lasting impression on all of us.

Our journey also took us to fascinating venues and sparked engaging discussions on the importance of inclusivity. One highlight was our visit to MyrtilloCafe, a social cooperative cafeteria and arts center, where we witnessed firsthand how inclusion is actively practiced. We also had the privilege to learn from experts at Michael Kontraros Collectibles, who shared invaluable insights into miniature construction and its applications.

United in Diversity

Amidst all the learning, we didn't forget to let our imaginations soar, as we collaborated on designing our very own board game! The process was filled with excitement and passion, and it reinforced our commitment to promoting inclusivity and collaboration in everything we do. The atmosphere throughout the development meetings was nothing short of magical. It was a friendly, multicultural environment that encouraged us to share our experiences and perspectives openly. Working together, we broadened our horizons, gaining insights into different countries, customs, and communication skills, and fostering a sense of unity and understanding. The bonds we formed, and the innovative ideas we shared are sure to pave the way for meaningful solutions to the challenges that lie ahead.

The Culmination of our Journey - this Fall

And if that wasn't enough to look forward to, our upcoming and final transnational meeting in the beautiful city of Arad in Romania this fall, promises to be the perfect culmination of our journey. Our excitement knows no bounds as we anticipate the enriching experiences and new connections that await us there.
The journey in Athens was a transformative experience, and we're excited to carry the momentum forward as we continue to work towards increasing inclusivity. We can't wait to share more about our adventure in future updates, so stay tuned!
