The game’s funded! Let’s take a look at the Tower, the expansions, and the solo mode!

Firstly, I would like to thank you all! It was your support that funded “Heroes of Might and Magic III: The Board Game” within moments from the campaign’s launch (literally, it took you 5 minutes to make it happen!) and it is your commitment that makes the counter still going! Brave Heroes, you have given us the opportunity to recreate the wonderful world of Antagarich on the board. Thanks a lot!

The Tower rises high!

We are happy to announce that you’ve all unlocked the magical Tower faction. This means that backers gain an additional fully playable faction starting from the basic pledge (all the components and the wonderful town board with the puzzle included). Now, you will be able to enjoy a 4-player game, which also means making alliances and striving for victory together! 
Have you ever wondered why the lookout tower rises proudly so high in the sky? A rumor has it that it is because the mages wished to admire the vast expanses of snowy Bracada. Now, you can join them, as there are four new tiles whose frozen grandeur awaits your discovery. Should you decide to taste some action, Dracon the mage could use your help, as he is just about to set out on a quest of defeating the most dangerous dragons of Antagarich. Also, the barkeep whispered to our ears that Solmyr—and his deadly chains of lightning—is on his way to your tavern! Let the best heroes join your cause, command the Tower army, and enjoy the wonderful artworks and figurines!

Get your spirits up in the forest Rampart!

Where there is magic and sentient trees, there is also harmony and wonderful stories and scenarios. In the Rampart expansion you will find more multiplayer maps together with the first joint campaign for Gem and Gelu who take on the task of finding the assassins of elven lords. 
Similarly to the Fortress add-on, the Rampart Expansion offers 7 tiles and 9 beautiful models—of heroes and units alike. If that does not sweep you out of your feet, the ballista or nearly 100 new cards (with Spells and Artifacts among others) most certainly will! What ballista? The one in the brand new deck of War Machines, of course! These additional cards will boost your Might and Magic deck, allowing you to deal extra damage to enemies, heal units, or ignore ranged penalties should your shooters suffer from them. All that throughout the battle!

Fire next to the swampy Fortress

The Fortress expansion will provide you with an abundance of cards (almost another 100!), some of which make an Event Deck. The effects of 20 cards that comprise it can modify your deck, remove unwanted cards, increase the effects of buildings you already have, or even add unique structures to your city. All that with one purpose in mind—to add more flavor and spice up the game. 


Would you prefer a book of Earth Magic or Air Magic? Not sure? Have a Mission Book, then. Apart from additional multiplayer scenarios, it will offer you a journey to swampy Tatalia, where you can assist Adrienne, a fire witch, in challenging the necromantic cult of Lord Haart who is not-so-dead anymore. Speaking of fire and other elements, have you chosen your favorite school yet? Starting with these expansions, the division of spells into Schools of Magic (Fire, Water, Air, and Earth) will influence spells’ effects by providing bonuses depending on other cards and effects. Helping Adrienne is the best way to learn how that works and how you can use it! Oh, one last thing! You know that toughness is what makes the Fortress’ army so impressive, but did you know that it is also impressive because of its size? It has the largest number of 50-mm-base models!

Solo, but with Might and Magic

Rewarding as it was, playing with friends was probably not as common as single player games. So, if you opt for this type of gameplay, we have prepared single player campaigns! In the solo mode, you will take on the role of your beloved heroes to once again gallivant through Erathia. Each campaign consists of a series of scenarios during which the plots known from the cult computer game intertwines with the events taking place on the adventure map. The story you will become a part of is an in-depth and extended version of the events that took place before the Reckoning.
Similarly to the original game, your Hero will grow in power over the course of the campaign. Retaining part of their deck after each scenario, they will become stronger and better prepared for the upcoming challenges. With all campaigns unlocked, there are as many as 19 individual scenarios! And a whole lot of emotions!
