The contemplatives are a race of psychic creatures native to Akiton, famous for their intelligence and isolationist nature. The quiet halls they reside in on Akiton allow for deep thought and complex calculations, but they have been known to serve as exemplary doctors, scientists, investigators, and mystic consultants. They often referring to themselves as "We" instead of "I", even when they're alone—could they be referring to some otherworldly entity, or is this simply an affirmation of their collectivist nature?
